Republican People’s Party (CHP) Deputy Ünal Çeviköz says, “The Blue Homeland facilitates the Justice and Development Party [AK Party] administration’s militarization of foreign policy.” He claims this is because it covers an area beyond sovereignty rights.
He says, “If you consider an area that runs along 200 kilometers as Blue Homeland your own area, you will present an aggressive and expansionist image.”
He calls Turkey imperialist, expansionist, and aggressive.
Against whom? Now let us stop there. This CHP deputy is speaking from the position of those who are disturbed by the way Turkey defends itself, and from its rise to power.
Is there any need to state from which country, which principle, or which homeland he is talking about?
Why is Turkey aggressive? For this? Speak openly. Is this what disturbs you?
Is it because Turkey destroyed that corridor, that map which the U.S. and Israel tried to expand from the Iranian border to the Mediterranean?
Is it because Turkey signed a maritime boundary treaty with Libya while the entire West, together with France and Greece, were drowning us in the Mediterranean? Is it aggressive because it would not allow the U.S. and the entire West as they were settling in the East Mediterranean?
Is Turkey aggressive because it fought against U.S. and European efforts to turn Aegean islands into missile bases, and as they built military bases against Turkey in even Alexandroupoli (Dedeağaç)?
Is Turkey aggressive because there are no longer bombs exploding in our cities, because it stopped the U.S., Europe, and Israel’s attacks through terrorism?
Is it because your tutelage order collapsed, because you couldn’t destroy Turkey on July 15?
Is Turkey expansionist because its government was not established through instructions from the U.S. and European capitals; because the ruling government could not be changed; because it did not fight on their behalf in every corner of the region; because the Western order collapsed in Turkey?
Is Turkey aggressive because the U.S. and the entire West could not bring Turkey to its knees using the Fetullah Terrorist Organization (FETÖ); because the tutelage era you desired could not be re-instituted; because Turkey responded to all these attacks with a war of independence?

There is not an ounce of intelligence behind these claims. Their skill to interpret what is happening around the world is zero. This is the best interpretation. But is this the truth? No. Our good intention aside, this is nothing but pure anti-Turkey sentiment.
They hate this country. They want it to shrink and be left to them. They hope to share it with their Western masters, and thus continue to carry out their orders.
As the world is being re-established, they have been tasked to stop Turkey from the inside. As we always say, they are the soldiers to “topple Erdoğan and stop Turkey.” Who devised this project? Who tasked them with this duty? These are all open secrets.
Maps were torn, trashed. This is why you are furious!
Yes, it is quite true and accurate: Turkey is making a great power leap for the first time since the Ottoman Empire’s fall. It is changing the game, tearing up and trashing the imposed maps.

Even Western media, such as the French Le Monde newspaper, writing that Turkey, Russia, and China are threatening the EU’s future causes the pro-tutelage group in our midst to pull out their hair.
The genie is out of the bottle. History has awoken; conscience has awoken; the mind is taking action. This is what makes those who are still stuck in the 20th century go crazy.
