Graduated from the Moscow High Command Training School “Supreme Soviet of the Russian Socialist Federative Soviet Republic” and the Andropov Red Banner Institute of the KGB of the USSR.
Ph.D. in Economics.

Dr. Morozov has worked at the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Kabul, the General Consulate in Mazar-e-Sharif. He has travelled Iran, Iraq and other Middle Eastern countries on business assignments.
He is a professor at the Higher School of Economics, where he conducts research into and teaches risk management and the analysis and forecasting of crisis situations.
Dr. Morozov has written several research papers, including the monographs “Geo-economic Realities and Security,” “Risk Management in a Transitional Economy” and “Technology versus Terrorism.”
In 2000, he worked in the Presidential Executive Office of Russia. Following this, he was appointed Senator of Ryazan Region. In 2003, he was elected to the IV Convocation of the State Duma of the Russian Federation.
