“We demand the charges are dropped against those already incarcerated and at risk of prison over their work to disrupt the criminal production of Israeli weapons on British soil.” An open letter has been published in support of Palestine Action’s political prisoners in Britain. The message includes the signatures of Roger Waters, Muhammed El-Kurd, Clare Daly MEP, Mick Wallace MEP, Farah Nabulsi, the grandson of Nelson Mandela and the daughter of Frantz Fanon. The group has launched a relenteless direct action campaign against Israeli arms factories across Britain. They have successfully shut down two sites for Israel’s largest arms company, Elbit Systems and forced the cancellation of £280 million worth of contracts with the British Ministry of Defence. There are seven Palestine Action activists currently in British jails.
