Israeli Newspaper: IDF Killed a Lot of “Civilians” During October 7th Because of “Hannibal Protocol”

Israel has a policy called “the Hannibal Protocol” that it is better to kill Israelis than let them be taken hostage, so you have footage of the IDF killing their own people as they were being taken hostage.

Hannibal was a Carthaginian general who poisoned himself rather than allow himself to be captured by the Romans. This “protocol” was first used to kill IDF soldiers in the 1982 war with Lebanon, and then again in 2006.

The basic fact of the matter is that we do not know how many Israeli citizens were killed by Hamas on October 7th and how many were killed by the IDF when Hamas was in the process of taking them captive. We do know that the goal of the Hamas operation was to take captives, not to kill random people. There is no explanation as to why Hamas would kill random people, unless those people had guns or were otherwise perceived as a threat.

    The Guardian:

In the initial chaos of the Hamas attack on 7 October, Israel’s armed forces employed what is known as the Hannibal protocol, a directive to use force to prevent the kidnapping of soldiers even at the expense of hostages’ lives, according to a report.

The Israel daily Haaretz reported on Sunday, nine months to the day after the assault in which about 1,200 people were killed and another 250 abducted to the Gaza Strip, that the operational procedure was used at three army facilities attacked by Hamas, potentially endangering civilians as well.

Another message given to Israel’s Gaza division at 11.22am, about five hours after the attack began, ordered: “Not a single vehicle can return to Gaza.”

That means “kill all the hostages.”

The vehicles were all returning with hostages.

A southern command source told the paper: “Everyone knew by then that such vehicles could be carrying kidnapped civilians or soldiers … Everyone knew what it meant to not let any vehicles return to Gaza.”

Haaretz said it was still unclear whether civilians or soldiers were harmed as a result of these orders, or how many, but documents and testimonies of soldiers, as well as mid-level and senior Israel Defense Forces (IDF) officers, suggested the practice was used in a “widespread” manner on 7 October amid a lack of clear information as the IDF struggled to respond to the attack.

    …

Israel’s ensuing campaign in Gaza has still to achieve several of its stated objectives, leading to fears the conflict is on the brink of morphing into sustained insurgency-style warfare. More than 38,000 people have been killed by Israeli operations in the Palestinian territory, according to the local health ministry, and almost all of the 2.3 million population have been displaced from their homes in a catastrophic humanitarian crisis.

The Israelis let this attack happen on purpose. We know that because it is simply ridiculous that the most guarded border in the world would be left unguarded at the exact time Israel knew an attack was coming.

But we have it confirmed to the point that no one can possibly argue the point by the insider trading that took place before the attacks.

See: BUSTED: American Jews Were Doing Insider Trading Before October 7 Hamas Attack

After letting the attack happen, the Jews started slaughtering their own people.

Did Hamas even kill any civilians? Presumably they killed at least a few. But the evidence is now mounting that the overwhelming majority were killed by the IDF, who was using helicopters to blow up Hamas vehicles leaving with hostages.

We already knew this, but to have a big national Israeli newspaper like Haaretz admit this is huge.

It’s also obvious that the Israelis knew they had no chance of beating Hamas. I don’t think they expected to take as many casualties as they are taking, but they knew it was impossible to “destroy Hamas,” and the only thing they could really do in Gaza was mass murder civilians (mostly children).

The plan from the beginning, as I said from the beginning, was to commit a massacre in Gaza, get Hezbollah to respond by attacking northern Israel, then attack Hezbollah in Lebanon and thereby get Iran involved, at which point the Jews will demand that the US go to war with Iran.

The whole thing was set up, from the beginning, to do a sweeping clean-up of all of Israel’s enemies using the might of the US military.
