The Zionists running Israel today remind me of a serial mugger who gets shot after attacking a victim who was armed and demands the victim be prosecuted. The Zionists always justify their bombings of Palestinians by claiming they are merely trying to prevent terrorism. Yet, as the chart above shows, it is the Israelis who are doing the killing. Not the other way around. This only covers a 14-year period (2000 – 2014).
You’ll notice right away that the overwhelming majority of the deaths are Palestinian, and have been for the almost 14 years since B’Tselem began tracking. Overall, the group has recorded 8,166 conflict-related deaths, of which 7,065 are Palestinian and 1,101 Israeli. That means 87 percent of deaths have been Palestinian and only 13 percent Israeli. Put another way, for every 15 people killed in the conflict, 13 are Palestinian and two are Israeli. (Statistics for the past two months are from United Nations Office for the Coordinator of Humanitarian Affairs.)
Those numbers have changed — for the worse, as far as Palestinians are concerned. Since October 7, 2023, the ratio of dead Palestinians compared to dead Israelis has soared to astronomical levels.
The following video was posted today in the aftermath of another Israeli strike on Palestinian civilians. Once again, many of the victims are children.
There is another dataset I would like to see. I don’t have time to do the research and compile the data — compare the number of people killed and wounded by terrorist attacks attributed to Hamas and Hezbollah with the number of Palestinians and Lebanese killed by Israeli terrorist attacks. I suspect we will see that Israel has killed scores more than Hamas and Hezbollah combined. Yet, Israel persists in playing the victim. Prove me wrong.
Meanwhile, on the border with Lebanon, Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) are learning some hard lessons. Hezbollah is not Hamas. Hamas is a relatively weak militia force, with little military training and lightly armed. Hezbollah is a different matter. They are well-trained, heavily armed, occupying fortified positions and carrying years of combat experience.
Eight Israeli soldiers have been killed fighting Hezbollah terrorists on the ground in Lebanon, Israel’s military said Wednesday.
The troops died in two separate firefights in southern Lebanon — one of them an ambush near Hezbollah’s tunnels — after the Jewish state launched a limited ground invasion there this week, according to the Israel Defense Force.
As Scott Ritter, Doug MacGregor and I — along with others — have predicted, Israel faces much greater risks in trying to pursue a ground war against Hezbollah, especially given the rugged terrain of southern Lebanon. Hezbollah ambushed an elite unit of Israeli special operations forces. Hezbollah reportedly allowed a patrol to enter an area, held their fire, and waited for the rest of the unit to come on scene. That is when Hezbollah opened up, killing 8 and wounding more than 30. I don’t think the IOF suffered that many casualties in one single encounter in Gaza during the last twelve months (please correct me if I am wrong).
Israel, in my judgment, lacks the strategic depth to wage a ground and air campaign on four different fronts — Gaza, the West Bank, southern Lebanon and the Houthis. I discussed this today with Nima and with Mike Farris. Videos are below.
